Artistic Vision .............................

_{Our vision is to bring a sense of awe, beauty, and hope to others through our glass.  We intend for our crosses to give praise to God by their existence and simultaneously to inspire those who witness them.}

Duncan Tooley, artist-owner, takes his experience of God's  many miracles and blessings in his life as the inspiration and passion for his cross designs and those of his associates.  His prayer is that the Spirit may speak powerfully to others through the beauty of these crosses.  

_{Most people experience contact with the sacred through their experience of beauty.  They feel a sense of hope and happiness when they witness a magnificent sunset.  At Tooley Studio, we sense contact with the sacred in the awe-inspiring beauty of colored light patterns.  We labor to bring that same sense of the contact with God to others though our works.}

_{The sun was created as our source of life-giving energy and light.  That light is composed of a spectrum of colors that blend together to appear as white. We separate that light back into its spectrum of colors through our glass designs.} 

 _{While ordinary glass appears black when no light is transmitted, we believe that our glass should also “dance” with artificial interior light at night. To accomplish this, we use the reflective surfaces of textured glass, white and opalescent glass, and metallic coatings. Each work is designed to have a unique “daytime” and “night-time” effect.}

_{We understand that the passion that we put into designing and fabricating our works gets somehow locked into the glass.  This passion can then evoke powerful emotions in subsequent viewers.  We believe that this passion is essential to making each work a masterpiece.} 

_{Our goal is to develop that unique design to fit  the architecture, taste, and budget of YOU, our customer;  a design that we can fabricate with passion and make into YOUR masterpiece gift.}
